Employee Financial Wellness Programs That Actually Make an Impact

For Jacksonville businesses with 75 or more employees who are tired of financial stress derailing productivity and morale, "wellness programs" that nobody uses, HR spending hours fielding benefits questions they don't have time to answer, or watching good employees leave for marginal salary increases.

What You're Up Against

70%

of American households are financially unhealthy

91%

of employees are stressed about their finances

49%

of Americans have less than $500 in savings

78%

of employees with high financial stress say it impacts them at work

But here's the thing: Just raising salaries doesn't solve this.

An employee making $50K with poor financial habits will still struggle at $60K, $80K, or even $100K.

Without the proper knowledge, tools, confidence, and discipline to make better decisions, employees will make the same mistakes over and over again. Lifestyle creep gets them into a chokehold.

This is where financial wellness programs create lasting impact.

Unlike most programs, ours actually gets used - because we focus on the real problems your employees face:

  • Living paycheck to paycheck

  • Crushing credit card and student loan debt

  • No emergency savings

  • Burdened by low credit scores

  • Suffering from past money mistakes

  • Not understanding (or not using) their 401k

The NeuroWI$E Approach:
Evidence-Based Financial Wellness

Our programs are built common sense financial education, behavioral economics principles, and the Financial Health Network's four-pillar framework - the same model used by Fortune 500 companies to measure and improve employee financial health.

Unlike generic financial education programs and resources, every workshop includes:

Interactive activities (not just lectures)

Real-world examples relevant to YOUR workforce and pay scales

Action steps employees can implement immediately

Follow-up resources and tools

One-on-one financial coaching for deeper issues

Questions We Hear from Jacksonville Employers

General

Isn't this just HR's job?

Your HR team is already overwhelmed. They're not financial experts, and employees often won't share financial struggles with their employer anyway. Third-party coaching provides confidential, expert guidance without burdening your staff.

We tried financial wellness before and nobody used it.

Most programs fail because they're generic online modules or one-time seminars with no follow up. Our approach combines practical workshops with on topics employees actually struggle with, plus accessible one-on-one coaching for deeper issues. That's all around support for your employees rather than a tool buried on your internal intranet.

Our employees make good money - do they really need this?

Financial health and wellness is more than just about income. We've worked with companies where employees earning $80K+ still live paycheck to paycheck due to debt, lack of savings, poor credit, and the unexpected changes to today's economy. Income doesn't automatically equal financial stability or financial capability.

Program Value and Approach

What outcomes can we expect from your financial wellness program?

Outcomes are going to vary by organization based on engagement, culture, and more. Generally, if the program is done well, companies can expect about 30% of their employees to make a positive financial change in the first year. This can be as subtle as increasing their 401k contributions all the way up to a full blow financial makeover.

Do you sell financial products or receive commissions?

The short answer is no. We are fee-based, meaning that we are paid for our time and expertise. We do not sell financial products to employees and thus do not earn any commissions.

How is this different from budgeting apps or generic financial literacy tools?

Apps and tools are broad answers to the same problem. They do help some people address their financial challenges. However, they are not built for everyone and often require an existing knowledge base that some of your employees may not have. We provide customized education for your workforce at multiple levels to address varying degrees of knowledge and education. Additionally, we act as guides to help your team navigate their goals, habits, decision-making, and the financial system in general. It's more specialized and caters more to individual experiences than broad, sweeping strokes of a budgeting app or self-guided online education.

Program Details

What services are included in the financial wellness program?

Our program consists of a financial health survey, customized financial curriculum, workshops - delivered onsite, virtually, or hybrid, one-on-one financial coaching, and ongoing metrics and measurement.

Can you support multiple shifts or multiple locations?

Yes, we can support multiple shifts and locations. There are additional charges for multiple workshops on the same day or at different locations.

Pricing and Contracting

How does your pricing work?

We offer corporate packages at various levels for our corporate clients. These packages vary in cost from a number of factors: level of service, employee headcount, number of locations, and more. You can learn more about the various packages above.

Do you require long-term contracts?

We view ourselves as partners with our clients rather than a typical vendor. Our hope is to work with our clients ongoing rather than a year at a time. We do offer contract lengths from one to three years. In our experience, most employers will not see a significant impact until after the second year.

Employees and Engagement

How do you drive employee participation?

These approaches will change based on the company we work with. Employers can take a variety of approaches. The common ones are attaching workshops to other required meetings like safety meetings. We can help with registration, tracking, and automated reminders for workshops and coaching sessions. We've also found that providing workshops and coaching sessions on site help with engagement and participation.

What does implementation look like, and how quickly can we launch?

Implementation can vary based on the company and the time of the year. Typically, we can launch a program within four to six weeks of a signed contract. After the contract is finalized, we meet with your team to begin planning the first quarter of events and discuss the best way to roll things out. Most companies include it in their internal communications like newsletters, intranet and so on.

Do you provide communication materials for employees?

Yes, we can provide key talking points for the launch email and subsequent event emails. We also provide promotional flyers and can assist with registration and tracking attendance if that is desired.
